The Partnership for 21st Century Skills offers various tools and
resources that enable educators to take steps to integrate 21st
century skills into education. Our tools were developed through a
comprehensive process involving hundreds of educators, researchers

Route 21: An Interactive Guide to 21st Century Learning, is an Internet-based tool that assists education stakeholders in developing and implementing an actionable plan to achieve a successful 21st century learning environment.
Route 21 consists of nine guides, each providing access to a dynamic database of examples, resources, recommendations, tools and self-assessments that have practical use at each level of the educational process.

Working in conjunction with organizations that represent the core academic subject areas, the Partnership for 21st Century Skills is developing a series of ICT
Literacy Maps that illustrate the intersection between ICT Literacy and core academic subjects. Using ICT
Literacy Maps developed by the Partnership, educators will gain concrete examples of how ICT Literacy can be integrated into core subjects.
